High street staple John Lewis has officially launched its Boxing Day sale online – days ahead of December 26.

The department store has slashed the price of hundreds of items on johnlewis.com, as many non-essential stores across the UK have been forced to close due to Tier 4 restrictions.

Shoppers can save up to 50% off everything from make up and designer handbags, to smartphones and kitchen appliances in the huge end of year clear-out.

Highlights includes 30% off this stylish See By Chloé Small Hana Suede Leather Satchel Bag pictured below, now £248.

For those after discounts on tech, there’s also £160 off the 2020 Apple MacBook Air 13.3″ laptop and £100 off the Marshall Stanmore II Bluetooth Speaker, now £199.

John Lewis will also be upholding its Never Knowingly Undersold price match pledge during the Boxing Day sale period. So if customers find items cheaper elsewhere, the retailer will refund the difference.

The early start to the end of year deals, means John Lewis joins a growing list of retailers who have chosen to launch Boxing Day sale discounts earlier than ever before.

Check out the top departments featured in the John Lewis sale below:

  • Fashion
  • Technology
  • Home appliances
  • Furniture and lighting
  • Beauty
  • Toys

Brits who aren’t under Tier 4 restrictions will have to wait until 27th December to venture into store as all John Lewis branches are closed on Boxing Day.

John Lewis has confirmed that all shops in England and Wales in Tier 4 are now temporarily closed. However stores not in Tier 4 and those in Scotland remain open as normal over the festive period.

Shoppers can still click and collect orders at hundreds of John Lewis and Waitrose stores despite the restrictions in place. The retailer is advising customers to check details for their local store on the John Lewis website before heading out.
